  • Drivers
    Have a pick-up or van that you're looking to put to use? Help the Food bank of Lower Fairfield County deliver and pick-up food drive barrels during the holiday season. Flexible hours.
  • Driver Assistants - Get your holiday workout by riding along with our driver to help pick-up and deliver food drive barrels. Flexible hours M-F between 8:00am and 4:00pm.
  • Barrel Buddies - Grocery stores from Wilton to Greenwich can have Holiday Food Drive barrels in them. Once a week, or as needed, the food will need to be collected by Food Bank Personnel and brought back to the warehouse.
  • Administrative Assistants - Help the Food Drive Coordinators with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, mailings and phone assistance. Flexible hours between 8:00am and 4:00pm.
  • Run a Food Drive
    Run a Food Drive at your school or business. Click here for suggestions
  • Sorting Donated Food
    Volunteers inspect, sort and pack non-perishable food for distribution to direct feeding agencies. Other activities include labeling cans and boxes of food. Sorting requires at least a two-hour shift each visit. Available at all locations.
  • Plant A Row
    Have a green thumb? While planting your yearly garden, include an extra row to donate to Connecticut Food Bank or a local member agency in your area.
