The Gift That Nourishes: From Local Fields to Holiday Tables
When the autumn air turns crisp and the leaves begin to fall, most of us start thinking about warm meals, family gatherings, and the comfort of a good holiday dinner. But for hundreds of families in our community, the changing season brings a familiar anxiety: How will we put nutritious food on the table this winter?
This year, we’re doing something special to change that—and we need your help to make it happen.
A Local Partnership with a Big Impact
We’ve teamed up with one of our favorite local farms to bring fresh, high-quality, locally raised protein directly to the families who need it most.
Our partner farm is currently raising a healthy flock of sheep. Through this partnership, these animals are being raised sustainably and ethically right here in our own backyard. With your support, we can secure this high-quality meat just in time for the upcoming winter and holiday season.

Why Protein Matters
Fresh meat is one of the most requested—yet least donated—items at our food bank. It provides essential nutrients, sustains energy through the cold winter months, and allows families to gather around a comforting, hearty meal during the holidays.
How You Can Help: Sponsor a Sheep Today
Bringing farm-fresh food to local tables takes a community effort. When you sponsor or donate toward a sheep, you aren't just buying food—you are directly supporting local agriculture and ensuring a neighbor doesn't go hungry this winter.
Choose Your Level of Support
Sponsor a Whole Sheep
Sponsor a Whole Sheep $1,500: Provides roughly 40–50 pounds of fresh, nutrient-dense meat, feeding up to 4 families a memorable holiday meal.
Sponsor Half a Sheep
Sponsor a Half Sheep $750: Helps us process and package fresh cuts to distribute to 2 families in need.
Share the Harvest
Every dollar adds up! A partial sponsorship helps cover the cost of care, feed, and local butcher processing fees.
